Well I had my first Thanksgiving Dinner yeserday. Once again, I was shut out of Turkey and had to settle for formula only. From what I hear the food was delicious. Maybe I can sneak in a turkey sandwich today

I'm 2 weeks Old

I went to the doctor today for my 2 week checkup. I weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. I also got my second pku test performed. That sucked and my heel still hurts. Other than that things were good. I also went to lunch for the first time in public. We went to Chili's, it smelled good but I just slept. I am trying to rest up as I have a big Thanksgiving weekend ahead of me. My grandparents are coming to town and I have a feeling I will get passed around like a football

GameDay

This is me on gameday last Saturday. The Lobos played the Utes and Ohio State played Michigan hence my colors. The buckeyes won, the Lobos did not.

I'm getting good at eating

Well, I am now 11 days old and I have the eating thing down. I pound at least 7 bottles on a regular basis and sometimes more. I also just wrapped up my first bath without crying even once. I also took my first career walk yesterday with my grandma Ann. She babysat me while my mom and dad went to a football game.

This is where I will sleep some day. Until that day I plan on waking my mom and dad up as much as possilbe!

I'm only 2 hours old

Good evening friends and family. For those that haven't met me yet. My name is Ryne Thomas Maestas. I was born November 7th, 2007 (11/7/07) for you craps fans. That's me right there just a couple of hours after birth. It was a hectic day to say the least. I was supposed to be born on 11/6 but I wasn't down with that. I decided to hang out until the clock struck 1:45 am on the 7th. My mom was very happy as soon as I arrived, (it was even a longer day for her). I weighted 6 pounds and 14 ounces and was 18.5 inches long although I think I was closer to 19 inches long. I was able to go home on Thursday the 8th and things have been going great ever since.
